  1. It looks increasingly likely that there will be a cold spell next week when I will be in Tenerife! Bad timing! :-(

      Do we live in the same country? Our weather is very variable and is always changing. Some places have had an extraordinary change from deep snow, to thunderstorms, to flooding, in less than 5 days. Usually something more akin to North American than Great Britain. The Canary Islands are perpetually sunny, extremely arid with little wind. Certainly not an interesting place, climatological speaking, and cannot compare to the unreliable nature of the climate of the British Isles.
