    20230310_073927.heic Surprised to wake up to an inch or so after yesterday's disappointment east of the A1 rain fest. Looks good for you guys further north and west for tomorrow pm/night and possibly next weds.

    Some may get one or two beefy showers moving in off the N Sea, animated met office radar shows this quite well for East Yorks, N n E Lincs moving through into N n W Yorks late morning rime.

    Interestingly some of the showers coming in of the North Sea are developing a little inland around the Redcar area.

    Ice pellets here, very surprised there's no warning out for ice around here, it's lethal out there.

    Three separate snowfalls before 3rd Dec, that's rare for here apart from the 2010 epic falls, feels a different winter this year .

    Good couple of extra cm's on the latest showers, looking back if we'd of accumulated all that has fallen over the last couple of days, reckon it would be a good 10cm+.

    Yes, shower intensity should spread up the North Sea as instability increases.

    Once this dross clears you can see streamers of the Norwegian coast, the low in the benelux countries should pull away (hopefully) east, love watching how things develop, chill out n relax, if you get lucky in one of the streamers enjoy

    Possibly Stratocumulus, expect things to develop more widely later tonight and early hours of the morning, where the streamers set up should give some decent accumulations, bit of patience me thinks today.

    Icy mix now of sleet/pellets, surprised given altitude n east coast proximity, those further west will do well.
