  1. not storm of the century, but even the beeb are hinting at a one watch for monday. now its in the reliable i for one will be watching all models
  2. brief but dramatic storm here in oxfordshire/cotswolds. power cut and hail. v gusty. v unexpected. eased now and power just back
  3. i agree. the only thing which makes it darker is the weather. the sun is fairly consistent!
  4. cant wait until the mist and fog sets in now, in my first country autumn in many years. let those nights draw in!
  5. Just saw a green trail one is that normal? Very chilly, dare I say it autumnal!
  6. Just seen a few hanging out of the house window in the Cotswolds with my cocoa. V clear and dark. I'm trying work out which planets I can see
  7. Since I moved from central London to a house in a forest I have become very aware of the night sky without light pollution. Seen several shooting stars this evening. Part of the persieds I guess!
  8. It seems that the 528 dam is playing havoc with possibilities. All very marginal towards the west. Londonsnow
  9. What's the score for high Cotswolds if anyone can be bothered. Thanks, londonsnow now cotswoldsnow!
  10. I haven't been on the ball with recent charts Daniel (moving from London so a bit harassed!) but I'll be watching closely over the winter! Bit off topic but then it is late. Cheers, Ls
  11. Haven't posted for ages but that 18z has interested me. Just one run from the gfs so I'm holding fire for the moment. Greenland heights are encouraging for the coldies. a very early cool down in scandinavia and further south looks on the cards, but all the veterans on here know its still way off. Let's see what the 0z throws our way!
  12. Well about 4 inches and stopped now. Not bad for central London!
