Yeah snow all around us. I'm not giving up until the precipitation has all but left lol. I've seen crap events like this suddenly flip in our favour at the turn of a hat, not often but can happen just need this temperature to start going down the right way. To be fair the uppers on offer over the last week or 2 was never going to give us big pristine dumpings. Let those in the west enjoy there 1-2cm cos if that SSW digs in later this month and can deliver us brutal cold from E NE, we could beat there totals 20 times over

From bbc weather page: ''Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday Sunday will be cloudy for the northern half of the country with spells of rain. Cloud will push as far as Wales, but it will remain fine and dry in the south. Monday will be breezy and cloudy for most with spells of rain for many. Wet and windy in the south on Tuesday, drier and brighter in the north, but spells of snow in central parts of the UK.'' Not sure how seriously we should take anything from bbc, we wills see

Rain here in otley even at 100m. Think we are well within the mild sector unfortunately. Thought the colder air to the north would have digged in by now and turned it all to snow. Temperature a very dissapointing 1.3c! Still think we can get a bit of an event out of this, temp should start dropping soon and it will turn, just a shame with missed out on hours of precipitation wasted!
