    I am and have been a huge lurker since I joined NW many moons ago. Much prefer reading the NW regional thread. I do look at mad thread/London and SE every so often but it’s full of rubbish most of the time too much head wobbling on why it will or won’t snow in the South. As I’m in Warrington looks like I will be too close to the coast and any mild sector will impact on snow chances. Good luck to those across the NW though as chances look better esp with some elevation

    I can see pretty much constant lightening to my SW. I’m in Warrington it’s raining very lightly and rumbles of thunder. Nothing giving us a direct hit yet but light show is great

    Heavy snow in Warrington, side roads are shocking. A day where you need a 4x4 seen lots of cars sliding all over the place. Was this amount of snow fall predicted for the NW??? The motorways must be a nightmare out there.

    -3 in Warrington, would expect areas out of town to be well below this. This cold spell is starting to remind me of my youth. All we need now is the snow that looks likely over the next couple of days and I will start thinking i'm back in 1985 again!!!
