morning all wel its belting it down here with pretty good sized flakes, north leeds roundhay

aye it is snowing here in the centre of leeds, fairly large flakes to be honest not small pellets that i would expect from dense fog. nice covering on the ground at the moment with temps still at -3

afternoon all christ it looks like an interesting week ahead...... been a while but am glad to see all the familiar faces posting!

nothign in leedas at the moment the front is to far south but im sure it will be up here for about 4pm. could be cold enough by then to start of as snow.

hmm that is interesting, should be snow by all accounts accoridng to the experts. any ideas anyone? i guess it could be the leading edge and turning to snow after?

good morning people looking on the radar there looks to be a substantial amount of precipitation for today, for wales and the midlands! looking further ahead onto tonight it looks like leeds could be hit by either sleet or substantial snow event again! what do people think?

where are you in york mate? i am just south of the A19 pretty heavy but small flakes.

heavy snow reported for York now starting to lay. in leeds there is now 2cm laying in roundhay. looks like the snow is going further north thaqn expected

intersting yo usay it is moving north eastward, i cant see it myself, dont think it will reach as far north as us until tonight if it doesnt run out of steam before then

thats interesting, looks like it could touch Leeds then in the not so distant future, just need temperatures not to rise too high before it does....

ahs anyoen seen summer blizzard this morning? the radar is gettign more interesting for later on this morning in leeds

how far north are we expecting this to get. i understand there is light snow in Shefild at the moment but is this likely to penetrate north?

let the southerners enjoy the snow.... we usually get it up here in yorkshire..... im sure it will come north eventually...
