I said that about the North East shield, look whats happened in the last two months, 3 supercells converge on the north east and todays cell, I can say that our shield has finally been broken ;

This is going to be a biggy, lightning and thunder, gone really dark , and the thunder is getting closer. hopefully my camera has picked up some good rumbles of thunder, its been on record for the last half hour

Temp dropped down to 17c in the last hour was 21c

We have Thunder BRING IT ON , Mrs has just sent me a text saying its thundering and lightning near the airport as well im currently in Jarrow about 10 mile away from where my mrs is

Just rang me Mrs over near the airport and she said its chucking it down up there

its still STOTTING down up here in the North East Just checked my weather site, and its showing me we have accumulated 14.4mm rain this evening add that too this mornings total around 8.8mm . so about 23mm accumulated today so far, other areas prob recorded more than that,

Oh well i made it home!, A19 North was passable, but alot of surface water , fog as well, thunder and lightning, oh well im off too bed im knackered, not long finished my 12 hr shift
