Blackpool.. getting battered here at the moment. Torrential rain, thunder & lightning..

Just been awoken by a few strikes on the Fylde coast, torrential rain.

Yeh, been rumbling for past half hour, seems to keep stalling over Kirkham and Lytham.. Not reaching me at all...

That would be the one I can see from Norbreck, massive now and getting the anvil shape..

Watching this grow just south eastish from Blackpool, maybe Preston, Leyland area.. Apoligies for the state of my lovely next door neighbour's garden

Still getting quite a few lightning strikes here. Rain just drizzle now..

Very interesting last 30 minutes here in Norbreck, nr Blackpool, plenty of forked lightning, and 15 minutes of monsoon (Florida) rain. Hopefully more to come..

Hi bud, we had Daikin air con installed in our and the lads bedroom last June, was also worried about the noise produced as a shift worker, but found it to be quieter than a regular fan, and on sleep mode, don't hear it at all. Me and the missus are both light sleepers, and it has been a godsend, keeping the room between 16/18 °C when all my work collegues are cooking

Few lightning strikes just here off the Fylde coast. Heavy rain, wind not to bad, a bit gusty.

Its been like this for the past 90 minutes here, just skirting round us. Why? Proper snowdome effect. Jeez.. ☹

so depressing m8, when all around getting the white stuff. I remember that satellite picture from 2010 if i remember right of the whole uk blanketed in white, apart from 1 small green speck.. the Fylde Coast...

Surely the Fylde coast should now be under an amber alert. Just seen a snowflake in the wind. Thereagain, it could of been seagull s**t. lol.
