  1. Driving from Tunbridge wells in kent to Crawley West Sussex on way home from work on country lanes. Stars out above me and some beutiful flashes of light lighting up the tops of the tall clouds in distance. A beautiful sequence if flashes just happened from South to north in sequence. Can see very frequent flashes all across sky to west. Btw I have stopped driving while grabbing coffee to post this

  2. Got caught in it on the A21 on way home at 8pm, REALLY heavy snow, blowing about like crazy, got to hill above sevenoaks on way down to M25 and hardly anyone could get up the hill as were sliding all over the place, people spinning all over. A lot of beamers and mercedes thinking they new better and spinning off. All lanes were covered with snow and on the M25 was not too much better.

Here is a Vid from Tunbridge Wells just after left work:

a couple of pics too: Tunbridge Wells

  3. Very cold drive home from Tunbridge wells via A21 > M25 > M23 -2 recorded near tunbridge wells on dash and -3 near crawley.

Saw wierdest fog, was hanging over the M23, but ahead was clear, all the car headlights were illuminating it underneath making it look very spooky.

to remind people who do not know the M25 between just before Clackett Lane services all the way to the M26/A21 junction now has 50MPh limit until 2014 for major roadworks enforced by average speed cameras!! (and judging by fact average speed cameras poles have been popping up all the way to the M23 the roadworks will extend all the way at some point.

  4. Very interesting drive home

Left work in tunbridge Wells at 8:10 and it was breezy, drive throug villages of langton green and groombridge nearby and everything was totally still, not a leaf moving.

Saw some interesting low clouds just past there, with an aeroplane with all its spotlights on illuminating it.

wind got stronger into east grinstead and when I hit Turners Hill area was almost in a head on collision with a Wheely Bin coming the other way lol until it ran off road REALLY strong guts up there with car being buffeted across road.

Finally started raining and wind gusts lower back in Crawley.

I did a Coast, and although I couldnt have roof down, not that rich ;) and even though was November had all my windows open. as if felt quite mild.

  5. WOW....... Driving home I usually take the A264 Tunbridge Wells > East Grinstead > Crawley router, but saw the clouds and though wouldnt like to drive home on that route in torrential Rain, so took the A21 up to M25 and west to M23.

Left Tunbridge Wells and got hammered by the heaviest rain i think I have ever seen. This was on the A21 Between Tonbridge and Sevenoaks in Kent.

Luckily replaced my worn out windscreen wipers yesterday, as visibility virtually 0, as they couldnt even clear the rain. Couldn't see the road in front for a time. Lots of CGs hitting each side of the A21 just before the storm lost energy.

Scared me <expletive>less, but yet was enjoyable none the less :)
