    Raining. It's been raining almost non-stop now for over 24 hours

    Sunday night looks like the best bet to me. Seems to be more wind than expected, really need that to stay calm.

    Reading the NHC discussions, it seems Marco became a depression before Laura reached the Gulf. Therefore didn't even manage two TS in the Gulf at the same time, nevermind two hurricanes as was being hyped by the press at the weekend.

    Is it fair to say that in the past, prior to having so much data available, Marco would only ever have been a Tropical Storm?

    Fairly intense shower there with one clap of thunder. Suprisingly lacking in lightning activity in comparison to the other two cells over London despite the whites and purples on the radar.

    I've finally had a storm overhead for about 25 minutes. I didn't see any lightning, but had maybe 5 flashes and rumbles. Fairly intense rain though despite the highest rates being to my South on the radar.

    Is there a chance of anything for London later? We've had had some rain today and I heard thunder in the distance this morning but no storms yet. Everything seems to be kicking off to the North instead

    What are chances in the south today, any forecasts out? Last night was frustrating again as everything was just to my north. We managed one proper strike, a few distant flashes and 5 mins of rain. You'd be annoyed if it had woken you up. Good to hear reports from others of some decent storms. I just can't believe the lack of activity here considering the warnings all week.

    Completing the set of compass points, now have had a storm to the East which is dying before it gets here. ?? Doesn't look good for the rest of tonight.

    Looks like this London storm is going to miss me here in the East. Frustrating to have now had storms North, South and West of me in the last couple of days but nothing over us. We've had about 30 seconds of rain.

    Lots of cloud coming in from the storm that crossed the channel overnight. I'm pretty thankful it's hiding the sun and keeping it cooler than it would otherwise have been.
