  3. Have just spotted the new BBC weather beta homepage and thought i'd post it here. Interested to see what everyone thinks! http://beta.bbc.co.uk/weather/ Lee
  4. I came across this website at the weekend called Weather Spark and thought this would be a good place to share it. Not sure how well known it is! You can find it at www.weatherspark.com I quote from their website, "WeatherSpark is a new type of weather website, with interactive weather graphs that allow you to pan and zoom through the entire history of any weather station on earth." A really nice way of visualising historical weather data. Enjoy!!
  5. had a really heavy hail shower here in Plymouth at lunch time today. You can see from the picture how localised as it heads north through the city and up towards dartmoor.
  6. I was wondering if anyone could help me? I have an Apple Mac (which i love dearly) as i am a graphic designer/web designer and they are far superior to PC's for the job i do. HOWEVER, i am very intersested in purchasing a weather station and being able to hook it up to my computer. I am struggling to find any info on software that is compatable with a mac. I have checked many UK suppliers of weather stations/software but they only ever list them to be compatable with pc's. Has anyone had the same problem and if so have you got around this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions on the matter? Your help and knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Lee
