  1. Nice Anvil type thing approaching us from the west Maybe one last bit of action before the cold front comes through
  2. Just drove through the little storm in Chesterfield Sunshine out, marble hail and thunder
  3. Cheers MP-R Reason I asked really, was as I noticed how quiet it is at present with any big storm depression wise developments in the Atlantic, and remembering from years gone by where a Hurricane or remnants of, is around, they seem to draw up the warm/hot southerlies Anyway, nice if the models stay as, or something similar for next week with something like summary to look forward to, although possibly less so the further north you are
  4. Is it something like a Hurricane we need in the Atlantic to disrupt the never-ending train line Jet stream? Seems to be some promise of something a bit summary, but only for it to be put back on the next model runs
  5. Near Brim/ Inkersall then was it. Cannot really get a good all round view from where we are Anyway, we were driving back through Nottingham yesterday morning at around 11.30 through quite a potent cell with quite a few strikes over the city centre. Got back to Hasland at 12.30 in time for that thundery shower to turn up and flood a few businesses
  6. Terrific Anvil Crawler and CG just on the Duisburg cam
  7. Take your pick. Map shows eventually at top left with cam locations and zoom in as for example Munster has two webcams in the same area, but it looks like just the one on the location map when zoom out http://livespotting.tv/
  8. Ooops Yeah but folk rarely use the Euro thread, although I have noticed a few on this evening
  9. Non stop flashing on Duisburg cam. Looks like lens need a wipe as this is normally a clear video stream http://www.wetter.com/wettercom-live/duisburg-sportschule-wedau/5295e2f857bad/ Also the Essen cam http://www.wetter.com/wettercom-live/essen-ruhrturm/5295eabf9daa2/ And the Monchengladbach cam ready for in a bit when the storm hits http://www.wetter.com/wettercom-live/moenchengladbach-best-western/53bfce02f124e/ And whoever controls these webcams, STOP ZOOMING IN
  10. Don't forget the Shoreham/Brighton airport webcam http://www.flybrighton.com/webcam
  11. Don't know if anyone is still checking this cam I put on earlier but someone has put the shower on lol http://www.flybrighton.com/webcam
  12. Just in case. Quality debatable http://www.great-yarmouth.co.uk/visitor-info/webcam.aspx
  13. Thunder heard on the Bognor Regis cam Portsmouth cam....annoying how this cam keeps moving, but better than nothing, with the best view when it goes to the Spinnaker Tower http://www.hmswarrior.org/webcam
  14. http://www.skylinewebcams.com/en/webcam/belgique/flandres/bruges/markt.html
  15. Someone called Alan has a cam. Seem to be near you. Use the buttons to control with the top right facing East (although you can see the tv and shelves reflecting on this shot) http://www.alanbuckman.co.uk/ipcamera/GenericCameraAccess2.htm
  16. The Hastings cam should light up in a bit Our old friend the Bournemouth cam, the scene of the huge late evening storm, of was it two years ago? http://www.bournemouth.gov.uk/AttractionsLeisure/BeachesandWaterfront/PierApproachWebcam2.aspx
  17. We need a control for these webcams. Would have made good viewing earlier if it was pointing east
  18. And Eastbourne. Just seen a flash on it http://www.itsfine.org/weather/wx_webcam_quick.php Plus http://www.itsfine.org/weather/wx_webcam_newhaven.php
  19. Not sure if this is live but looks a decent cam at Shoreham near Brighton airport facing North http://www.flybrighton.com/webcam
  20. Posted this earlier, but anyway, get ready on the Bognor Regis and Hastings cams http://www.bognorregisbeach.co.uk/live http://www.beaming.biz/company/hastings-pier-webcam/
  21. Yes it is a good site for webcams on the coasts around France The Hastings webcam could make for good viewing tonight. Remember to adjust the settings to HD http://www.beaming.biz/company/hastings-pier-webcam/ And maybe depending which direction the area of storms goes is the Bognor Regis one which has sound http://www.bognorregisbeach.co.uk/live
  22. Looks quite dark looking on this cam with some strikes showing, and I assume it is part of what's heading towards the SE later http://www.viewsurf.com/univers/plage/vue/12824-france-pays-de-la-loire-la-baule-escoublac-live
  23. The one that is near us at present...cannot class as a storm, but like a night after a dodgy curry.......lots of deep rumbles every now and again
  24. Not much in the way of flashes but the rumbles are continuing. Last one sounded quite close...but according to radars a few miles away which could be the ones towards Junction 30 of the M1
  25. Very close that one. The cat has done one Not showing on lightningmaps though
