    LoL Did I just say a wee dusting of snow was 'nice to see' ?? My husband is still on the bus trying to get to work in Hull (14miles) after an hour and a half !! Gawd, we've only at a cm or two. BL

    Just picked the wrong (?) 15 mins to walk my pooch. lol. Heavy, blowy showers of snow pellets coming in this morning. Bright sunshine in between. BL x

    Hi all, I've chosen, Shadowcat's snowy pic. Hard choice as there's so many super entries, but this one is arty and shouts 'weather' to me, lol. I think it's partly that the benches make you think of warm sunny days, and here they are in those bitter conditions. Fab. Beverley Lass x

    All beautiful, quality photos but I've opted for Louby's acorn just turning in colour. As Lady P said, so representative of the month of September. With the drip of water too it seems perfect for a weather site calendar :-) Incidentally, apologies for my not choosing a selection of 5 this time, my comp. was out of action for a whole week due to a nasty virus :-( And I had wanted to vote for OON this time too !     LOL Some lovely pics Simon. Best of luck ;-) I was very pleasantly surprised how very pretty and interesting Norfolk county was and took 100's of pics - historic sites, countryside, coast etc. I was everso lucky to pick the first week of Sept. and have glorious sunshine all week :-) Had a fab few hours at the Tudor Hall at Oxburgh :-) Cheers, BL x

    Just spotted the first of the House Martins to arrive here between Beverley town and the East coast - Bless :-) Tom Tits and Great Tits nesting in my boxes and my Blackbirds have their first chicks out the nest today :-) My whippet is on cat watch ! lol. Beverley Lass x

    Hi all :-) I was mightily surprised to have my friendly resident hen blackbird .. ('Mrs Halfbird' .. a Sparrowhawk almost had her last summer and she lost half her plummage ! ) .. coming to me for scraps and loading them up for her chicks ! I see her mate is doing his bit too tonight. This seems v. early in the season for oop north here and after such a cold March. Bless her, hope she's successful ;-) Cheers, Beverley Lass x
