    ...I miss storms Paul..lol... storm Chase is to far away....and yes they are not better than the USA....but I think its a good UK standard I think? People need to start taking pics and video

    Joey,Joey..but look at the storms north they look nasty... I just have to sit and wait for a car,that wont be until gone 6pm last time i saw this amount of red x's was two yrs ago I think in the Southj East..or am I wrong

    heavy showers developing north of IOW into hampshire.. also the showers west of London look to be intensifying,could be interesting towards that way later.. here on radar in Glos we are surrounded by small showers but still no rain

    i wouldnt be surprised in the next few hrs for full blown thunderstorms down in Devon.....though saying that it is the UK

    I wouldnt worry about that Twister,those small charts are extremely un-accurate at the best of times. the warnings are often more the thing to follow

    you can see a good view on sat24 of a convergence zone forming right across the South West into east glos east wards

    steve I think you have a nice chance today....A few places from TV to the net mentioning Storms which a few might be severe... another met update for warnings Devon & Cornwall. Some storms will be heavily electrical and slow moving. another source Central British Isles Undrneath the through centre, weak tornadoes are not ruled out given weak vertical wind shear and quite good low-level buoyancy and convergence.

    Isolated torrential downpours could give more than 20 mm of rain in one hour locally, with overall totals perhaps exceeding 50 mm. weather guys mentioning today is the day of TS for the South and West :drinks:and Wales

    Yes that one seems to be intensifying, also the one in South Devon as increased,cant see any sferics on netradar yet..

    yes and IF it happens the local weather said the heavy showers will or may continue into the night in South Glos Ian you have a good chance...normaly if they hit here they also go to your area.. The Cleave high hills forcing them slightly North East of here.. no chasing this afternoon for me..got up to late and the Misses as took the car.. Garden chasing for me

    been watching the radar and there is certainly large showers exploding rapidly all to our West and South... Looking more of a chance today

    showers growing fast in other areas already like Hampshire and Manchester are fairly torrential by the look of things

    thx CF.. The impression I got on Discovery was it will be serious if Katla erupts.. and just like you have rightly said maybe tomorrow next week next year.... for certain it will go at some point.. I now again pop on here just to keep my eye on things as its worth being aware of the latest <_<

    Is this looking like it might blow... watched a programme on discovery about it a few weeks ago. Said If Katla blows we will have some serious conditions compared to the last small volcano... and we havent seen anything yet...This was the main theme of the topic!! Are these quakes increasing or as this been doing this on and off now anyway?

    yes like the Spanish and Greek season....(Sept/Oct) Booked up for Majorca Sept 1st for some decent African imports....real cheap holiday.... Sangria,Bikini girls and storms what more can a man ask for... :lol: maybe a slap from the misses

    lol.....one thing you can predict with this year is that the showers die when they get here..lol it fizzled on radar, my waterfall is saved Some more beefy ones down N.Devon but not worried they will fizzle also by the time they get here
