  1. Thanks all. It's going to be tricky to go Friday as I'm working all day and have a 3 year old and huge amounts of luggage (twin sis lives in Malaysia and one suitcase is just her stuff). I'm going to plan to get a train mid morning and hope for the best. Flight from Heathrow at 7. I only live 10 mins from LBA so was looking forwards to an easy journey!

    Hi, long time lurker here.

At what stage would you all consider that the models are unlikely to significantly change? In particular are we at the stage where that awful Icelandic low is a dead cert for next week?

Does this depend on how far out in time we are or the level of agreement between the models or both?

I ask because I'm going on holiday to Cornwall Saturday for a week and this forums has made for depressing reading the last few days.

  3. Yes i'd agree Paul. No need to panic yet! Over the past few days the GFS has been toying with the idea of getting a ridge of high pressure to nose it's way in. Seems like a trend on the Somerset ensembles for a rise in pressure around that period

I really hope so. I've experienced too many wet Glatonburys and know what a difference it makes to the experience. Fingers crossed and keep up the great work!
