  8. It must’ve be more our side of the city, it was about 1km from us based on the count between lightning and thunder. Saw a lot of lightning. Only managed to capture one less impressive bit on my phone.
  9. I was woken up by the fantastic storm last night, watched some excellent lightning with my excited 6 year old, tired this morning though!
  10. Lots more overnight here too, big drifts.. can’t wait to go out and explore! Shame I have work today! (At home but still work. Kids school is closed again).
  11. I’ve just been out for a walk to the allotment to knock snow off the polytunnel and it’s a magical winter wonderland.. about 20cm now and fairly moderate snow coming down atm. Lots of trees and bushes struggling with the weight of the snow.
  12. Might be worth calling 111 for some advice, that sounds like heat exhaustion? Some tips for getting yourself better here .. Heat exhaustion and heatstroke - NHS WWW.NHS.UK Heat exhaustion and heatstroke are potentially serious conditions that can occur if you get too hot. 13. 37.2 here now. Just been to collect our boys from school at the request of the head. They’re now in the relative cool of our front room at 26.5. The rest of the house is over 30.
  14. We’ve just beaten yesterdays record of 35.3 (from 5pm), reading 35.4 now.. nearly 5 hours of potential heating still to come
  15. Struggled to sleep in our loft, the outside temperature on my Davis actually increased overnight, peaking at 3.30am at 29.4. We had velux windows open both sides and there was a moderate hot breeze blowing through most of the night. Incredible.
