    Thunderstorm accompanied by torrential rain here in Rotherham around 2:30pm to 3:00pm the bottom of our road flooded and its not done that for a few years .

    Yes i will second that SM , heavy rain and 2 rumbles of Thunder in Rotherham 7:30-8:00 today folowed by another weak storm this afternoon. Excellent Cu- Nimb Fading away to the North as i type.

    Half decent Thundestorm just passing over Rotherham S.Yorks , approached from an ESE direction. About 10 rumbles of thunder up to now and some good IC and CG lightning . 6.2 mm of rain have fallen up to now ... still raining.

    Just been awoken by intense flickering a good few miles SSE of Rotherham S.Yorks . Up for work in les than 2 hours but who cares .

    Hi Stu, yes the Thunder is almost dying out now here in Rotherham and the rain was very intense at one stage . Just had one last loud clap ( the one that catches us all out when we think its finished)

    Thunderstorm with a few good CG strikes North of Rotherham tracking SE . Planes coming in to Doncaster are flying round the CB's

    Thunder heard in last few minutes here in Rotherham S.Yorks . All cloud development is to the north of me at the mo. Medium wave is picking up the crackles at least 3 a minute .

    Snow from about 04:40 this morning until about 09:30 settled at first on high ground to the east of Rotherham but went as quick as it came. Been raining ever since
