  1. A good covering now in Hale. S manc. Best for a while. May just catch the southern edge of the larger front
  2. I work on the network and we’ve cancelled all planned work with everyone mustering at level 3 - the highest - 1st thing Normally the network is pretty resilient with snow as it’s high winds and trees that cause more issues It will be a long day
  3. Very light snow blowing around now in Middlewich wasn’t expecting anything today
  4. Be good if the current Scottish front could drop and pivot over us later
  5. Nice covering again in Hale from a more traditional wind and front quadrant three times now last few days
  6. Nice flakes falling Hale covering up tracks. Not as heavy yet but main band looks 45 mins away. lucky track again.
  7. Been snowing on and off in Hale S Manc with a good covering We got lucky with the pivot area and being cold enough.
  8. Very short but heavy burst in Timperley but 5 mins away it’s sunny in Alty
  9. Cracking storm that. Everything thrown at us in Hale Sw Manc
  10. How far North will Thursdays feature get, ICON has it better 06z north midlands Heavy sleet in Hale now
  11. Good cluster around Hull, hope they can get down the M62
  12. Dusting here too, streamer lance and north Manchester this time
  13. I assume its going to pivot at some point and move east then south east, most radar have it still edging NE?
  14. Front deff further North, we're the last suburb of South Manchester so maybe a little later - Euro4 to watch Yesterday was great, a few pics, save for the driving to work Further afield ECM has us in Easterly - but post 144 so we'll see
  15. made it in, treacherous to get to the along Hale Road M56, the irony of the main gritting depot being ice bound by the sheet ice on the slip roads at the four season But kids and missus happy as school closed (shes a teacher) they'll have an ace day sledging Big shower incoming along the right trajectory for South Mcr, I've learnt from this - wind direction is as important as dew points No model had it fully nailed as it was such a dynamic atmosphere
  16. That was a heavy trough, 3 inches here on top of black ice. Good road salting Trafford. Not. Very dangerous
  17. Heavy here. Good covering. Pleasant surprise this. Travel problems now
