  1. Looks like you are going to get hit after all! ... although maybe thats a good thing. --
  2. hey Capt. That storm is a long ways from you on the radar... looks like it will miss you... but you should see a lot of lightning bolts...just no rains.
  3. Looking at the radar...looks (at least to me) that the storm line is more cohesive...rains should last a good hour. *even the political media maniacs on BBC TV, are acknowledging the ongoing storm... as the vote count continues. --
  4. re: where is the rain? I'd think the blast wave of flood-rains should be there in NW London by now. What traffic is out there now....its all 10mph
  5. It would seem a great many are going to be woken up across the next hour or two. Fierce storm line headed north..few will escape this (surprising) September overnight storm.
  6. Wow, HEAVY big fat snow in NW2. If this last more than an hour, roads gonna seize up in the city. --
  7. Well hey, big fat 'forrest gump' snow now falling in the north-west of the city. A real surprise, although it certainly feels icy this night. Is everyone else asleep right now already? Wake up London! Its snowing!
  8. Do we declare a state of emergency yet in the metropolis? Radar looks promising for a few more hours of at least fine powdery snow, thats easily enough to grind things to a complete lock up for the rest of the day. - Quite entertaining to all watch, the met office just got pwned again  You can't predict CHAOS! When will they learn?
  9. Good early morning to you crazy people Once again, blizzard conditions in the north-west of the metropolis. Everything snowed under, but its certainly most welcome. Will make for a nice pictorial Wednesday. - At least no quakes here.
  10. okay  , my use of the word 'blizzard' does not fit the official term. Yet, its a bit breezy, and its big fat forrest gump type snow coming down...for me..thats a...blizaard B) - Radar shows nothing to the SE, so I guess this is just one of those weird streamer things...maybe, or we are just getting a bit lucky this night. Regardless, this is kinda yet another bonus for those in the city. How many days of snow is this? I ain't counting, but we must be up to 15/17 by now, and its now even mid January yet!
  11. omg, blizzard conditions in the NW2 section of the mighty metropolis - I'd not even have looked, were it not for the lunatics in the BB house, had just mentioned it ! - Wow, what a surprise.
  12. Hmm...a rather sleepy evening at the mall in NW2. Fog is super thick here, even with lights, visibility is down to 50 yards, and its icy fog for sure! -- Still snow lying on the ground, thats 6 days running now. A record for 2 decades in the city? Perhaps.
  13. 90mins at least, so fair chance for a few inches. Maybe a bit more, but no still, its not that deep a precip band, so...can't expect too much. Maybe it'll stall though? 12 hours of this, and London will be closed for rest of 2009
  14. Night falls over the icy city, the drivers move ever faster, it is not going to end well for some this evening. Here at the Mall, big ole' forest gump 'fat snow' flakes, making travelling exceedingly nasty. The radar does look to offer maybe a fair bit more, for those west of the city, I'd think those in Reading should be on DEFCON'2 right now for serious snow problems. *Is that Moses outside? Is that why the London snow-shield has fatally failed this Christmas? ALl hail....the 11'th commandment. Thous shall see snow at Christmas time in the city!
