Ok "WeatherMaster" maybe you can answer my question that I posted earlier as you obvioulsy view the UK / Wind speed direction charts as much as I do. "What do the lines represent in the above charts, surely they are not isobars as they seem to bear no relation to the strength of the wind, is it the speed of the front tracking through over time ? That is, if they are very close then the "wind" will track through very quickly, if they are well spaced, but it is still windy, then the wind will take longer to track through?????"
