  1. I'll be in finnish lapland this week looking out for the aurora borealis. I think ive got a pretty good chance at the moment, the weather looks quite settled, with decent chance of clearing in the evenings. Temperatures however, look very cold with the possibly of -30°C by night and nothing much above -20°C by day.
  2. Hopefully Wales will see some snow over the next few days. I'm off to finnish lapland for a week, where temperatures could possibly fall to -30°C on wednesday, thursday and friday night, theres no snow forecast however ive got a good chance of capturing the aurora borealis over the next week. Good luck with the snow guys!
  3. Big warm up for Finland next few days. Up to 3C in Finnish lapland Monday. Drops back down next weekend with sub zero temperatures returning
  4. A fresh covering of snow for lapland last night , it turned much warmer in southern Finland overnight with rain and sleet and temperatures above freezing, it looks set to turn colder tommorow as colder air floods south again.

  7. Sustained wind gusts of 70mph reached in Mumbles not far from here, quite rare to see gales this widespread
  8. Breezy here at the moment. Mumbles head gusting to around 35mph. Expecting the worst of the winds from 6pm till 12am tonight. 70mph looks quite likely for mumbles
  9. Isha looks like she will ramp up with damaging winds from 9 to midnight tomorrow night. Looks quite nasty. 60-80mph gusts. Scotland perhaps getting the strongest gusts after midnight with 60-90mph gusts.

  11. Looks quite snowy in lapland Monday Tuesday and Wednesday but much warmer temperatures

  13. There was a shower just northwest of Swansea about half and hour ago but it just died out. Sky clear
  14. -5C here in Swansea this morning, parts of the gower have a dusting of snow from a snow shower overnight
  15. Definitely potential later for snow showers in the North and west of Wales. Meanwhile, Northern Scotland getting battered with heavy snow showers.
  16. It felt so nice in the sun today actually very pleasant with no wind and not in the shade, very spring like
  17. Had rain yesterday then it became brighter in the evening which led to frost and icy patches. Today looks to be fine, dry, bright and cold. Make the most of the dry weather. Back to heavy rain and gales for the weekend.
