It's been a nice day for a change! Crazy to think a few weeks ago we had that snow, today hazy sunshine and a high of 17°C, it felt very nice -

Spells of heavy rain now winds haven't been that strong here at all. It was breezy, mild and sunny for most of the day.

We got to 50mph last here with the lashing rain it was quite a stormy night. More wind and rain to come.

We got sleet mixed in with a few flakes here, quite heavy, so i can see why its snowing in the valleys! Temp is dropping quickly now, from 7 earlier now down to 3C!

Interesting night of weather thats for sure, heavy rain across much of the south, temperatures cool enough for snow in places, and some thunderstorms thrown into the mix too, then strong winds later.

Looking at the radar, Plenty of showers heading in from the atlantic, will be a case of dodge the showers for the rest of today probably a few cracks of thunder and hail/strong winds in some of the heaviest showers. -
