What hill were you on? I was up on Barr beacon and it was amazing to see it incoming from the east.

I'm just heading down to brum now. Think it's going to kick off big time down there this evening.

Well it's safe to say we have finally punched through the cap. Towers going up left right and centre here in Staffordshire. The fun starts now.

The cap is very stubborn today but I'm just seeing signs here in the Midlands that we are punching through it. The remainder of the day could be very interesting.

That cap should be broken within the next hour. The radar will be looking very different by about 4pm.

You need to do what me and Supacell do and jump in the car and chase those storms. Trust me there's nothing like it.

Starting to look very interesting from Saturday afternoon into late on Sunday for anyone fortunate enough to be living in the west Midlands and Shropshire and into the Welsh marshes.
