    Just got home along the M20, top of Wrotham Hill area looks amazing, nice white blanket over everything! Nice big flakes landing at home in Detling but not really settling much 20240108_143908.mp4

    Just had a nice drop in Detling, around 4cm judging by the covering on my van which was clear of all snow earlier! Radar looking like there will be more to come yet. Looking at the road cameras a249 and parts of the m20 completely covered over!

    Afternoon everyone, First time since Sunday morning it's stopped snowing for more than an hour and the suns out making it rather nice but still very cold! Around 15-20cm accumulation in my back garden, but it had acted as a bit of a trap for the drifts blowing about. I've just cleared the driveway and paths around my house so I hope this means we get another big dumping tomorrow

    Morning all, Snow still coming down nicely in Detling since this morning and has been quite heavy at times! Measured 8cm in a slightly sheltered flat surface but there has been so much drifting and blowing about its over 20cm in some spots of my garden! Untreated Road through the village looks horrible and I've not even attempted to drive out to work. I work outside too and minus temps are also not appealing

    It's been constant snow since around 9am here, difficult to judge settled accumulation as its so windy it's blowing all over the place Walking over Jade's crossing has some really nice dry compacted snow due to the lower temperature its fallen on, pavements and roads still a bit too warm to settle much and going a bit mushy! A good starter, hopefully main course being delivered this evening brings it up to the 15-20cm mark

    2ish hours in from when it started to settle. Still coming down heavy and the winds blowing it all around, should be a nice build up by this time tomorrow

    So only a couple of hours in from snow starting and people are writing it off?! Have a bit of patience this is on for the next 24+ hours

    Yeah its coming down much heavier now, from where I live looking north you usually see the downs but can't see anything it's like thick fog! The strong winds have eased off now too so it should start building up nicely. This view is towards Maidstone Town 20210207_093256.mp4

    Slowly but surely its building up im in the village so at the bottom of the hill, might be better up top!

    It's now been quite heavy but still small flakes for past hour or so in Detling, just about settling on the grass hopefully a start of things to come! 20210207_081802.mp4
