  1. Same here, just got the cat in and it’s all white where it had thawed earlier - hadn’t checked the radar since about 6 as I thought it was all over!
  2. now this is what we've been waiting for, proper big flakes swirling around, love it and the radar could bring more later today
  3. under the green on the radar now and cleared paths and road quickly starting to get covered again - heavy but fine flakes
  4. sun has been out here for a couple of hours and melted the snow on the road and the thaw has set in for a bit before the temps tumble again - I don't think we'll have much more now, although the forecast says tomorrow we'll get some in the morning - it's all passing just north of us and the wind would need to change to bring it down slightly away from the current streamer, but 3 days of snow has been a nice bonus in lockdown
  5. Looks like we’ve had a top up of a couple of cm overnight and it’s snowing now, not much snow in the forecast for me today, but on the cards for tomorrow? We’ll see
  6. I’m at the bottom before it fizzles out and we have snow now (exactly as the radar shows) forecast shows us to have heavy snow overnight, so hopefully the greens are heading my way!
  7. definitely picking up here after a consistent light fall since around 8am, the flakes are getting bigger and the wind swirling them around more too - hope to increase on our 1 inch already
  8. We’ve had another dusting overnight, our road is partially covered (due to it drifting to one side more than the other) started snowing lightly again and the met office has us down for heavy snow lunchtime and this evening, so we’ll see if that happens! Luckily my desk is right by the window so I’ll have one eye on my screen and one eye on the window today!
  9. I’m also on the west Kent border with Surrey and we have light snow just starting to settle on the cars and roofs
  10. Brand new member here, been lurking over the last week or so watching this play out- I’m in the very western part of Kent so hoping that the hills surrounding (Ide Hill Sevenoaks, and Biggin Hill) don’t keep all the snow to themselves! Cant wait for the curtain twitching to start later and that anticipation leading up to the curtain opening in the morning, just hope I’m not too disappointed!
