Let them have their fun. Had quite a bit of snow up here this year, this is the first for a lot of them in 3 years. Once that low clears out the way things should be better for us.

Light snow flakes blowing in the wind. Will really need something more intense to get anything laying.

What time is that pest of a low due to clear from the south east? I can see anything here until it does.

Yup, tonight's OP run, unsuprisingly a colder trending one out of the ensembles. Unlikely to verify, but bloody good weather porn.

Ok. Giving up for the night. Seen a few minutes of falling snow and a abundance of sleet and rain. Hopefully the next few days is somewhat more interesting. Otherwise I might get a shovel and start digging up the Pennines myself.

Would prefer the Greenland high to move slightly to the west or shrink to be on Greenland to open a straight northerly, but it's certainly a trend in the right direction if not perfect. -
T=384 but just for fun. So close to the NW'rn motherload just need that Green high to shrink, or push west a bit for a more northerly flow.

Anyone else noticed this complete jaffa cakes taker Irish streamer above wales. Snow lovers across west lancashire and cheshire collectively adding razor blades to to their weekly shop as we speak.

Looking above the tail off the coast of Hull there's a few more streamers slightly to the north beginning to set up, if they can get over the Himalayas could get an event out of this yet

It tends to go quite during a proper cold spell as everyone's looking at radar/out their window,

Lets hope it survives then Much more than many over here a bit further south have seen in a while. No doubt it will die on it's way

Radar actually taking the jaffa cakes..... Sleety Snow reaching Haslingden then fizzling out just before getting to me Anyone out that way able to confirm radar's accuracy here if so I'm looking at house prices in Aviemore again!!!
