  1. It would be nice if most of these links were reuploaded or backed up. Sigh more internet rot. It's actually affecting congress and senators as digital records for court cases can't be accessed making the foundation of things very shaky now. We have several newsletters highlighting very important issues of internet rot affecting even the higher law people.
  2. Here in Oregon we get a bit of snow and people panic but down here it's understandable because half the kids live up in the hills so while it may be 34F and roads clear above 500feet is a different ball of wax. I have literally seen it back when we lived in Silverton OR just a cold slushy rain at best (on our end of town) and up past the reservoir on Silver Falls Highway: a sudden winter wonderland with several inches. Just happened a few times already this winter which causes Silver Crest school to delay or close despite being part of Silver Falls School District sometimes their outlying schools will close. Typically most schools close the entire district but ours is unusual.
  3. This is old thread but it would be helpful for those not logged in to be allowed to download this and may encourage a few more users with weather stations in your area or the UK to make an account if they can see what this is all about. Currently you have to login just to view this: When forums have 'You don't have permission to view this' all over the place (outside of special admin sections of course) it is definitely off putting sort of like the old guy with a shotgun yelling at everyone to 'Keep off the grass!' then he wonders why he has no friends or connections and dies alone on his hill.
  4. Don't forget all those cow farts. We need cow butt mufflers big time! Warm is cold and cold is warm. Only in today's world.
  5. Comparing here to most of the community area of this board? More Than 100,000 Lose Power as Extremely Strong Winds Batter Western Washington | The Weather Channel - Articles from The Weather Channel | weather.com WEATHER.COM Winds blasted through Western Washington Thursday, causing widespread damages and power outages. - Articles from The Weather Channel | weather.com Would the outages have been so bad if so what are usually the worst hit areas according to the UK Power Network maps?
  6. How common are baseboard heaters in the UK? Electric baseboard heaters - Bing images (The web address didn't go thru) The 10 Best Electric Baseboard Heaters | Improb here is what I mean: Here in Oregon a lot of older homes have them and they suck in the winter though we have a heat pump so it's better and not anywhere near as expensive! Our heat bill is usually pretty steady in the winter not bouncing very much.
  7. Weird. We got heavy rain here in Aumsville Oregon too! 2.18 inches on the gauge. steady rain since 3pm. Usually when the UK is wet we are dry or vica versa!
  8. Such as the London Met Office or something. What are your best sources now that Wunderground has long since sucked and further more they won't ever expand past 2003 or so for the UK.
  9. The only one you have! 404 Not Found (durhamweather.co.uk) "Hi Officer I'm lost trying to find the AI and am around Peterborough can you point me to it?" Officer Belokey: "Sure but first tell me which A1?"
  10. Why are gun owners usually dumb about technology and think 'pointing and shooting' is all there is to know and if you attempt to teach them technology or spark a debate or discussion they get all stupid and nothing but crap comes out of their mouths usually name calling.
  11. It used to be common and now it's all broken links or changed webpages dumbing down information so any sites for UK places where you can find a station and look for a date for some of these historical events? Utah Climate Center is the only one I know of and it's very selective most not going past 1970 and even then a lot of missing data in some spots.
  12. So was the place ever found? I hate it when threads are polluted with cliff hangers like above these days on the web, You then you go to answer and 'Cliiiiiiiick' most threads locked in archive mode from years ago so you cannot reply and nobody knows what the hell your saying if you make a new one to answer an old one filled with nonsense or vague answers.
  13. Berlin hits 85F in the shade! Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnn from the suuuuuuuuuuuuun! (Which sadly was not as hot as today's white blob) You can't even be outside for more then 5 mins before being sunburned and I am not easily sunburned. Could run out for hours as a kid without sunscreen. The atmosphere IS different today regardless of the cause.
  14. PS. Am I doing something wrong as I'm being shadowbanned or something which is more of a YouTube/Reddit mentality: Whenever I search for the song I get these weird results noting to do with the song on the video part: To the wave with wind song - YouTube Another thing I'm going to have to force out of Jesus when The Lord comes back and go further on the run. I am glad I'm a fugitive from him and will NEVER surrender to him and his dumb ways. I know your all part of his conspiracy and guess what? I'm not gonna change! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
  15. He was on the right trail but somehow lost his way. His website was not mouse friendly designed for touch only but asside that it looked fairly decent as no other site exist that has localized data you can pick and choose. Welcome to nginx! 17. How was the infrastructure impacted during this cold spell and how did it effect life?
  18. There was a thread where someone posted a website he made to compile local weather data. It was buggy but eventually you could find what you needed. Sadly the post and anything related is gone. Did he get banned?
  19. There seems to be nothing that says that or even hint it.
  20. Going for 110+ on most models for PDX this weekened/Tuesday! Max insane runs show 120F with Seattle easily surpassing 100F with no sweat. Can we trade weather please? I'll gladly let you have that kind of weather with London hitting a high of 109F joining the Sacramento country club. Sacramento GB.
  21. Cmon over to western Oregon where we have had our summer ridge since early April with only two days of rain this June! We have had the driest spring at 4 inches of rain. Was 2 and 1/2 inches until the June moderate rain events which put us closer to average for this month but still FAR FAR below average and deep in the fire zone. Now we are looking at death ridges and possibly 100+ heat next weekend. Boardman Coal Plant is permanently shut down to add more strain to the grid and our lights have flickered more then usual this year which we hardly ever have it! Yay! Let's all have brownouts this summer. Good thing I bought a decent USB backup.
