  1. After about 10 minutes of wet sleet in Slough it has now turned to wet snow. Temp .2.9 DP 1.3
  2. Light snizzle in Slough, Berkshire. Temp -1.2 DP -3.9 A top up would be good, but this might be the very edge of westward progression.
  3. About 3 cm in Slough. Temp 0.4 C (steady) and dew point has risen to same over last 2 hours. Can't see Slough getting 40 cm.
  4. Just thought I'd post om here to see if I'm banned or not. Anything I post on other threads that disagrees in the slightest with regular posters (or in the last instance asked them a question) gets deleted. I can't help but think that many of them must be very sad and wierd people. And by the way this is the only post I've made that might deserve deleting.
  5. Reporters/TV crews have it easy--they simply stick to the main roads and report from wherever they get stuck. Simples. Temp 2.7C in Slough and falling fast.
  6. http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/subje...458132/?lang=_e December figures now out. 90% full, which seems to be about average for the time of year. Since its been raining a lot since, they are probably over average now.
  7. Hats off to Stratos Ferric, not only are the reservoirs full and the leaks diminishing, but the quality of drinking water is improving too. http://www.defra.gov.uk/environment/statis...r/kf/iwkf14.htm
  8. http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/subje...458132/?lang=_e As at the end of November, close to what they should be. These figures should be updated to the end of December in a few days.
