    Crossing a small snow field on the way to the top. Care Challenge Series are also doing the challenge at the same time and have 32 teams of 7 people on the mountain at the same time plus there is about 8 private groups also doing the challenge.

    Only when we reached the top of Scarfell Pike we were able to take photographs becuase of the lack of light as we had started the ascent at 3:30am.

    22 hours 3 minutes and 30 seconds and Adam, my 10 year old son and Macmillan Monkey have successfully completed the 3 peaks challenge, with 3 exhausted adults in his shadow.

    We forgot to get a photo at the end of the descent. This photo was taken at 3:56pm in the car park opposite the Snowdon railway station.

    Adam was invited to BBC Radio Cambridgeshire at 8am to be interviewed live on air! On Thursday the 1st of June he was in our local paper and Friday he was interviewed by another local radio station LITE FM.

    Training climb 28/05/06 The top was very wet with a 40 mile an hour wind, climb up 3hr, down 1.5hr to Wasdale Head

  22. Misty start to the day, overnight low 11.2C, mist slowly cleared during the morning, hot clear afternoon, starting to mist up again now, temp 15.2C
  23. overnight low 7.6C, clear warm start to the day, light cloud cover all day, wind gentle breeze, temp now 20.6C, skies clear.
  24. heavy rain overnight, cleared by 10am, overnight low 8.1C, bright spells with the odd heavy shower, temp now 17.7C, wind moderate breeze.
  25. Friday morning saw my first ducklings and today saw some coot chicks at Flag fen. also have great tits nesting in one of the garden bird boxes.
