    looks like Swaledale .. The cold air does pool in the valley around the river. Ive been there in -18 but that was with snow on the ground.

    any mid term forecasts out for Mid Sept yet? Four days in the Borders on a golfing trip. Last two years have been lovely weather wise

    hate thunderstorms .. as a golfer they are dangerous and frankly its five minutes of potential , lots of rain and screws a period a perfect weather for just living

    modern car temp gauges to 0.5c and without sun wont be far off .. you drive into foggy dip and temp drops.. you climb a steep hill and the temp steadily drops as altitude increases. Its not a stevenson screen but wont be far off
