it is a local terminology, as in somebody who lives on the Yorkshire Wolds and is why we are often called a 'Wold Topper' hence why i chose it as my NW name when i joined NW, not that i should need to explain myself to a dweeb like you, smart Ar#s ,
A day of 2 halves, bright warm sunshine this morning, replaced with grey clag this afternoon, had a family bbq at teatime that was interrupted with a few spots of rain, nowt drastic and not overly cold but took the edge off the evening!
Blue skies and bright sunshine on the Yorkshire Wolds this morning, far better start to the day than yesterday, the horrible strong breeze has buggered off, breakfast and a brew on the patio, perfect!
The wind spoilt the evening to the point that my hair was constantly in my eyes , it was a shame that we couldn't sit out in the warm evening air, 'Warmest' day of the year, lol, not on the Yorkshire Wolds, a bit of warmth this aft is all we could muster!
Yep it got warm for a few hours this aft and then clouded over again and the breeze picked up, 28c for a couple of hours on the east coast is hardly news worthy
Cloud finally cleared after lunch, the afternoon warmed up nicely, recorded 28c at 4.30pm, by 6.30pm the cloud had come back, the breeze picked up noticeably, and the temp dropped to 22c, short lived warm spell would be an understatement
Was reading 28c at 4.30pm when i got home, now the cloud has come back and the breeze cranked up noticeably now 22c, also arrived home to find the village has no Elec , power line round the corner from my cottage is dangling from the pole onto the farmers track, back on at 9pm allegedly
Just looked at the radar and Scotland getting a bit of a soaking tonight, no mention on the threads? Anybody would think it is going to be a tad warm 'darn sarf' tomorrow
Fantastic to be sat out this evening in my brothers garden in a T-shirt, having a few cold ones, putting the world to rights, this is what summer should be about, sat outside in the summer in the garden with family n friends,
