  2. Thank you, much appreciated and i do hope you can get on top of the damp in your mums basement!!!
  3. it is a local terminology, as in somebody who lives on the Yorkshire Wolds and is why we are often called a 'Wold Topper' hence why i chose it as my NW name when i joined NW, not that i should need to explain myself to a dweeb like you, smart Ar#s ,
  4. Hardly comparable, hiking and climbing a mountain trail or pi77ing and moaning because it is a bit chilly in my back garden

  13. The wind spoilt the evening to the point that my hair was constantly in my eyes , it was a shame that we couldn't sit out in the warm evening air, 'Warmest' day of the year, lol, not on the Yorkshire Wolds, a bit of warmth this aft is all we could muster!
  14. Sipping a Pimms on a warm summers evening is just too much to cope with. Sarcasm? Or smugness? Flip of a coin in the written text
  15. Yep it got warm for a few hours this aft and then clouded over again and the breeze picked up, 28c for a couple of hours on the east coast is hardly news worthy
  16. Cloud finally cleared after lunch, the afternoon warmed up nicely, recorded 28c at 4.30pm, by 6.30pm the cloud had come back, the breeze picked up noticeably, and the temp dropped to 22c, short lived warm spell would be an understatement
  17. Was reading 28c at 4.30pm when i got home, now the cloud has come back and the breeze cranked up noticeably now 22c, also arrived home to find the village has no Elec , power line round the corner from my cottage is dangling from the pole onto the farmers track, back on at 9pm allegedly
  18. Temps ramping up nicely now the sun has broken through, it is about time we had a warm day, home time in 20 mins, time to enjoy the evening
  19. Cloud starting to break now on the east coast, temp starting climb, although we have a nice pleasant breeze, roll on 4pm then its beer garden time
