  1. WYorksWeather i didn't come to start an argument, and i apologies to the thread if i come across like that, but i cannot abide stiffled debate through force of will and bias just because someone 'shouts' the loudest! Not aimed at you btw...
  2. I will cavite my post with... i do not deny global warming is factual and happening, but... the attitude of some when people offer an alternative articulate argument is unhelpful to the debate and 'jumping' on those people whom may hold an alternative opinion is not constructive to the discussion!
  3. After an early frost its has been a bright sunny day on the East Coast of Yorkshire for the 2nd day in a row , great weather for pottering outside no coat needed, currently sat in the garden with a brew, grand job
  4. Norrance might be ok for a Gardner, hardly relevant when you have 1200 acres to plough with 6 slipe reversable and 300hp borking down in every wet hole, a light frost ain't gonna really make alot of difference!
  5. A couple of pics of the Gypsy race flooding between Boynton and Bridlington, long time since I've seen it this severe
  6. Asher indeed, suddenly everyone is an agri soil expert, never seen a 2cm slipe on a plough, a lot of carp being posted in the last couple of pages, the land needs to dry up full stop... no rain and a good breeze will dry the land up as usual!
  7. Just purchased a tinfoil hat, just incase the loons are correct!
  8. Grand day on the Yorkshire Wolds after the rain had cleared early morning, mild for a Feb day tbh, nice day to bring the old cars out of the garage for an airing and a start up on the drive, soon be car show time
  9. A couple of weather stations local to me recorded mid 15c today, although dank n grey i quite enjoyed the mildness,
  10. Just stuck my swede out door before climbing the stairs and its teeming it down, a mild evening and not a breath of wind, really don't need anymore rain tho...
  11. A lovely afternoon on my part of the Wolds, pleasant sunshine and barely a breeze, nice to be outside pottering about for a change
  12. reef agreed, drove back from Driffield about an hour ago and the rain is torrential, the roads are awash and its blowing a hoolie as well, thankfully Elec came back on 30 mins ago as i got home, @RebsAbbo quick get everything charged up before the power goes off again
  13. Why don't you engage in the model thread and offer your 'constructive' observations of what the models currently offer, rather than 'hiding' in this thread constantly criticising those whom take the time and effort to contribute? What are you afraid of?
  14. RebsAbbo i wouldnt rush to dust off the snow boots, our neck of the woods will prob miss out, its all too marginal and we are too close to the coast imo for anything significant, hope i am proved wrong but this has 'sleety crap' (if anything) written all over it!
  15. Empire Of Snow i think fwiw one or two places may get a pleasant surprise later this week, which considering how mild it is out tonight is quite a staggering flip
  16. Pretty much a nowcast situation imby later in the week, the finer details are difficult to pin down accurately, sit back, chill and see what unfolds, thought @Aiden2012 might be stirring by now
  17. Had to pop to Costa-del-Filey this aft, blowing a hoolie, Filey bay with the brigg in the back ground, moody skies...
  18. Due South or perhaps quantify one's post with more info than one line of text?
  19. @mike57 wind cranked up a notch here at Carnaby in the last hour, not checked the speeds but certainly increased in strength,
  20. Wind has picked up in the last hour or so on the Yorkshire Wolds, been a noticeably mild evening as well,
