  1. Looked at the radar this morn and it looked like it would clear by lunch but NO, its kept on drizzling/raining all afternoon and through this evening, log burner lit again and its a week away from May, really starting to 'grind my gears' now....
  2. RebsAbbo de-stoning and ridging for spuds i see , twas a pleasant day on the Wolds today, i took advantage and spent the splitting logs, again....
  3. 6.5°c at 8am on my commute, 9.5°c late afternoon when the 'back edge' eventually cleared and the sun came out, 4°c currently, good old spring
  4. What a carp day today, 6.5°c at 8am on my drive to work in the pi55ing rain, reached 9°c this aft when the rain cleared and the sun made an appearance, currently 4°c this evening, pretty carpy for April despite what some may claim....
  5. Scorcher god awful day on the other side of the Pennines, sharp showers, wind blowing a hoolie and ruddy chilly, log burner lit yet again this evening, and some peeps enjoy this carp....how strange
  6. Managed to stay dry here thankfully so far, made for a productive day outside with more logs split and stacked, although the breeze is annoying it helps with drying things up,
  7. Although cloudy with tiny glimpses of blue skies, local weather station reporting 17°c, i'll take that after Tuesday's deluge.
  8. Absolutely battering it down on the Yorkshire Wolds currently, sounds thoroughly unpleasant outside, looking on the radar we are on the northern edge of a squall line rattling across East Yorkshire.
  9. I took a pic from the same spot about 6 weeks ago, slight improvement but we are going to be well into spring before some of this land dries up, no good for this years harvest.
  10. SunnyG I just say it as i see it, if u liquidised cardboard, it would taste as bland as Corona
  11. In Absence of True Seasons Corona is bland tasteless rubbish, akin to drinking cardboard, no wonder peeps stick a slice if lime in it....
  12. Pished it down leaving work around 5.15, treacherous leaving Bridlington, that was followed up by a few beefy showers upto 6.30 at home, hopefully cleared for the evening
