I part own a refrigeration company, my job and sadly my life at present is the design of industrial refrigeration plants with my main interest being energy efficency. Unlike most people on here i have the ability to produce cold (and in certain circumstances snow) whenever i want (OK when somebody pays me). Most my work is on chill stores (0 to 2) although freezer at or around -25 takes up a some of my time. Fellow of the Insitute of Refrigeration.

First become interested in weather as an 11 year old during the fabled winter of 62/63 which we survived, and it was a matter of survival not of enjoyment. I have written a few brief stories about this winter explaininng the implications when people wish for a rerun of 62/63.

For my sins been a Charlton and Dartford supporter all my life.
