  1. Starting to ease now. Pity, i was hoping it would stall for another 6 hours, lol.
  2. Just keeps falling, rush hour is going to be a nightmare. I'd get some pics, but god know what my password is to log into my phone, for an easy upload. But this has been impressive. 7.2cm on top of what was a clear wheely bin lid this morning.
  3. Well i was not expecting this. Quite the dump of snow in Stoney for the past half hour, heavy, persistent, large flakes covering everything white again. If this carries on for another hour, then it will be the end of days, it's beautiful!
  4. The showers are definitely getting heavier, more flaky & fluffier. I'd say the last few has dumped 2/3 cm. And looking at the radar "Mair Snaw" expectations of 6 inches could be way short.
  5. About 5cm fell in Stoney since supper time. The showers have been quite regular, maybe lasting 10/15 minutes, not really flaky, smaller sprinkle stuff, the snow is quite wet and melting in my hand quick when picked up.
  6. Roads & Pavements are sparking, the odd snowflake blowing in the sky. Some beefy looking showers showing on the radar, happy days.
  7. I hate boasting, but it is a pretty impressive shower i'm under just now. I think my dog can sense my giddy behaviour, lead in mouth, wagging his tail. If he insists.
  8. Stoney done ok this morning, about 3/4 cm's. Coming home from the pub just now was a bit dodgy as things are icing over, looking at that radar, its about an hour away, not convinced it will be snow at my level.
  9. Now snowing in Stoney, wet stuff, but I have no intentions of going outside to double-check.
  10. It's dreich, it's dark & my letterbox is going like the clappers. Don't think I have ever seen a red warning for Stoney for anything (wish it was for snaw) tempted to superglue the letterbox down, but just found some bluetac lol. Probably the less messy option.
  11. Bit before my time, more big sis era. Used to bombard the Inverbervie buses with snaw ba's, after a snowfall in school.
  12. Don't want to sound all imby, but that is about 1cm in 10 minutes. Real heavy stuff coming down, blowing in a strong wind, it's beautiful. Dog walk time
