    Just when I thought the snow was giving a bit this afternoon we get more snow! It must be about 5 or 6 inches deep now.

    I think the snow has stopped out there now, but it really fell down for a while and left a good few inches :-) The drive back from Aberdeen was interesting.

    Heavy snow here overnight last night and first thing this morning, we had a good 10cm.

    Not too cold here yet, but getting cooler! Heavy hail showers this afternoon and a blustery wind. I guess I may get to see a bit of snow, I must admit we have hardly had any this winter.

    Well I was quite surprised to find a dusting of snow when I arrived home this evening!

    Blizzard conditions up here this morning! Not too much snow on the ground I guess most of it has blown into drifts in the strong wind.

    I must be in a cool pocket of Aberdeenshire as we have had heavy snow showers today, no sign of any rain.

    Well I'm not being left out up here! We have had another 2cm of fresh snow today and it is currently snowing hard!

    Had a dusting overnight again, this time it only thawed slightly. Lovely bright sunny and a still day until around 4.00pm then the clouds came rolling in and we have since had at least 2cm of snow. It is really lovely outside now, as it is still the snow is just floating down ( instead of the usual horizontal stuff!).

    A slight covering here overnight about 1cm, but thawing rapidly.

    Snow showers here today, enough to give an occasional dusting but it melted in all but most sheltered spots.

    Frosty last night about 10.00pm, but this morning it is 5.3c and blowing a gale. Oh and just a few rain splats on the windows as I type.

    They were very heavy when they did come, only lasted 20mins or so but were frequent. I guess the wind blew the over fairly quickly. Ooops sorry I just realised no idle gossip on this thread! I hope I am forgiven (I was only being polite!)

    Well here we go, strong winds with sleet and hail showers (very nearly snow!) all afternoon today.

    Yesterday we had really heavy rain and storms most of the morning. Today not as much in the way of rain (yet!), but the thunder has been almost constantly rumbling all afternoon.

    It has been a nice day here today, quite warm and still. Now the wind is picking up and it is raining. The cloud was quite strange just before it changed, it was low and very dark but looked like smoke as it was very patchy (not your normal wall of black).

    The temp at 12.50pm today was 5c, it rained most of the night and all morning, but brightened up this afternoon. (Oh and even saw a few sleety flakes in the rain!)

    Well yesterday we had alot of heavy snow showers, but only really gave a dusting. Today had a dusting overnight, but didn't hang about long.
