  1. I had a dream last night. I dreamt that it was gonna snow.
  2. It's incredible. I'm ethnically Iraqi. To think that if I had spent the winter living in Baghdad I'd have seen more snow than living here in London. I remember when I last visited a few years ago, and my relatives all thought it snows all winter in London, that I am getting everything they're missing out on. Hilarious, after today, they couldn't be more wrong.
  3. There was some very nice, thick fog this morning. One of the very few pleasing winter mornings I've woken up to so far this winter.
  4. I came on here to post that asking for a cold snap is too much, and that I, at this point would be satisfied with just one cold day. But looking at the posts here, I don't even think that's even going to happen. I have never found myself desperate for the arrival of spring, but it's happening this winter. I have never found myself hoping it snows in March, but it's happening this winter. I have never seen a winter fail to record a sub 7C max here, but it's happening this winter.
  5. Very poor first half of winter. I hope this winter turns out to be a tale of two halves. Surely the second half can't be as bad as the first, surely I can be feeling upbeat and postive this time next month. I mean, if I didn't see a max below 7C or a min below -2C, no way the second half could also meet that criteria, it almost makes me excited because I just know it's going to better. It has to.
  6. Looking at the temps for the next few days and it's mild. I really don't think I'm going to see a high below 7C for the first half of winter. That's abysmal. I don't know a single other first half of winter that meets that stat.
  7. I really hope that if some dry weather is on the way soon, it lasts a long time. I'm getting sick and tired of waking up to showers every morning. Not to mention, I'm still yet to see a high below 7C so far this December, so it's been devoid of even a single cold day as well as wet.
  8. Odd day today. There was glorious sunshine all day here, but whereas this would normally involve calm winds and a cold, frosty morning, it was mild in the morning and the wind was fierce. Don't know which I'd prefer to be honest.
  9. Is it me, or does this supposed period of settled 'chilly' weather we're getting right now producing relatively average maximum temps?
  10. 3.7C please. The third colder than average month in a row, but probably last, I reckon January will be mild, although it's far too early to tell.
  11. Glorious day. If we can't get a snowy December, some lengthy periods of sunshine and frost will suffice.
