  1. WillinGlossop Did you see any of the London Marathon? UKV has rain moving in on Friday.
  2. moochops Yes, I've managed a few hours out tidying up outside, been moss scraping, it's all over everything, ornaments, tubs, sides of walls. Need a good back rub now. 4 days now April has produced a dry day that is usable. Brightness came late afternoon. Pink moon tonight, named by N Americans, pink because of a wild pink flower called phlox covering the ground, indicative that spring has sprung.
  3. Yes, pleasant blue sky dry start, 6.8°C 8am. I'm still putting my heating on first thing to take out the early morning chill, is everybody else getting by with any heating on yet?
  4. Felt spoilt by the weekends fine weather, back to drizzle, fog on the tops and 6.8°C (6.10am).
  5. damianslaw Glad you are getting your share of this fine weather, looked a bit wet ont radar.
  6. Been a better day so far for sunshine than yesterday, max 13.3°C, doesn't look like the Lake District did so well. Stunning walk, the canal was really busy with walkers, everybody enjoying a dry Sunday. Proper spaceship Lenticulars too.
  7. Absolutely lovely here at the moment, sunshine, blue sky and lenticular type clouds. Marvelous, off out along the canal.
  8. Winter Hill tis miserable, can't make outdoor plans, odd burst of sun currently but there's plenty of dark clouds.
  9. Morning all. Dry start temp earlier at 6am was 7.2°C so no frost here this am. Yesterday was only the second day so far this month without any rainfall the whole day long, tis a bit poor. Rain moving down into the region at some point later today.
  10. Had an awesome walk up Lantern Pike, bit nippy on the top, had a sit down and made a hot drink with my jet boil and gas canister. Lovely view over to Kinder and behind me Manchester was lit by the sun. Beautiful, mainly sunny 12°C..
  11. Had Worse I'm off up your way in a bit, I fancy a hike up Lantern Pike and muffin in Hayfield. these sunny dry days are precious.
  12. It certainly wakes you up outside. Lovely clear cloudless sunrise, and a layer to scrape off the car. Make the most of it, enjoy the day.
  13. Good Morning. Chilly start -0.3°C, Macc Forest -1°C. There's a slight layer of frost on the bird table. Lovely clear skies currently, 5.35am.
  14. Few dry hours mid morning. Been underneath or just on the edge of that stream going through the region, odd brief bright spell but had showers on and off, typical April weather. Really, really want May to shine.
  15. 8.4 °C 7am. Quite windy here making it feel much colder, and it's raining, needed big coat on just to feed the birds.
  16. Weather-history Interesting to read "so far this month 152.9 hours of sunshine." Depressing to see just 44.4 hours of sunshine recorded so far at Rostherne. Yesterday was their Coldest temp so far for April.
  17. tricol Yes, I thought it was due a bit later too. Macc was sat under blue echoes for a while before any precipitation fell. Tis wet now though.
  18. raz.org.rain Rain all around here, Macc in the middle of it is still dry.
  19. iand61 Yes, bright cheerful start not lasting the day. Rain feeding into the Lakes by dinner time, and to the rest of us through the afternoon. Keep an eye on the sky if you're putting your washing out.
  20. good morning all. Clear skies led to a chilly night here and a slight frost, -1°C.
  21. Looks like a dry evening regionwide. Apart from SW Cheshire. Lovely sunset sky here.
  22. matty40s wow, the electrical discharge generated from the ash plume in the first video is amazing.
