That might be an issue. It’s looking ,likely  as I’m seeing some very strong gusts already

Also to mention if you look at zoom.earth compared to windy live radar , it's further ahead than forecasted, isn't supposed to touch Cornwall till 5am

    See its further ahead

You confirmed it !! Actually dead centre is just off the point of land between Cornwall and Devon, what's that called?

Winds won't suddenly rise to enormous speeds over Cornwall and Devon after low passes, expect N 30-50 then NNW backing to WNW 50-70 (km/hr, to sunrise and WNW to NW 70-110 sunrise to noon, the strong winds are rotating around to slam into southeast England). This low is linked back to the old parent low and it's an axis of weaker winds extending NW that is being dragged along for the ride towards Somerset and Dorset, same general idea.

Slam southeast ;-; sir what do you mean , I like My home 😂 and like I said on slight breezy days locally It's fine but at my house it's a kission to open and shut the door hwxause it's always more windy here due to the field , but I do think it's going to hit deeper into south east as it keeps rotating north and south east at rhe same time

Yeah the wind has changed completely it feels. I don’t think the storm has moved much further east either.

One thing comes to mind .... eeeee

This all reminds me of the well-known Jan 1978 "Cleveland superstorm" or Great Lakes blizzard, a very deep low (954 mbs) passed through the area where I lived at the time (near Toronto), did considerable damage to infrastructure including taking down large hydro-electric towers near London Ontario, as well as blowing an A/C unit off a roof into my parking space at work, luckily neither I nor the car were in said space but would be five minutes afterwards; all of that happened during a frontal passage and windshift as the superstorm rotated violently. Today's event is gliding along at an angle that could prevent a worst case scenario of organized frontal windshift in southeast England, if that does begin to develop, all bets are off about highest wind gusts.

I think what's also quite surprising for UK is how slow this is moving has barely moved at all over the past 3 hrs while the rain is being pushed north..lots of dark echos now east of it.

Show me the echos- I do hope your joking there dangerous as hell
