I also had a couple of missing readings, but I moved the console closer to where I have installed the weather station and - touch wood - much better. I haven't upgraded my firmware yet - I see there was a new firmware released yesterday! I just ordered a miniSD card to do that. I noticed that using the WS View App from the appstore I could update the wifi firmware over the network and can now send to ecowitt.net - which I am now doing. My weather station has arrived from hong kong (well, it arrived last week but I was away). Just need to get a pole and install it now!

She priced for 433Mhz. Looking at the froggit website it has a mix of 866 and 434 stuff, not sure which is compatible! I have quite a lot of 866Mhz stuff around as have DECT, alarm, evohome, lutron...

Lucy has emailed me back to say that I can buy a UK spec HP2551 for 275USD including shipping via DHL. Sounds pretty good to me. What are the pros/cons of the 2550 vs 2551? P.S. Lucy may not be a real name; we had a call centre in India that allocated themselves British names to help foreign customers!

I'm in the market for a new weather station and this looks like the one for me too - so fingers cross it is to be sold direct in the UK soon
