  1. I don't have a rain gauge, but according to Rivers House in Bridgwater there has been 48.4mm of rain in the last 24 hours!
  2. Looking at the river level at Old River Tone level at Bathpool Outfall just outside Taunton. It's reading 11.02 meters, beating the record set in January (10.79 meters) of this year!
  3. It seems the highest recorded level on the river Tone at Bathpool outfall of 10.16 meters (2020) was broken this afternoon (10.49 meters). Photo was on an afternoon stroll last Sunday looking at fields along the Bridgwater and Taunton canal.
  4. Cloudy start but a decent afternoon with a chilly breeze. Good for a cycle ride.
  5. Slight drop in temp to 2c, dew point as it was. Wind has increased somewhat
  6. Like many we had light snow on and off for a large part of the day, fine flakes for the most part, A local weather station is reporting 3c and a dewpoint of 0 ( was -1 earlier).
  7. Well I hope we don't get freezing rain over the weekend, has been over 20 years since the last time though
  8. Oh yeah. Running through the animation it seems it formed in the Bristol channel
  9. Just noticed on Wunderground someone up the road from me has a weather station. It's reporting 2c and a dewpoint of -6c
  10. Last Sunday managed to get wet snow at 3c, favourable dew points I guess
  11. Been such a long time since I've worn one I've forgotten what it's like!
  12. It's only an alcohol thermometer outside but temp has gone from just under 3c to 5c in around an hour!
  13. A few pics while up on the Quantocks earlier (cycled up there!) Got the 50p sized snowflakes after getting home this afternoon.
  14. Hawkridge reservoir Monday gone, might go up there at the weekend to see the difference!
