    Ok my concerns are decreasing we now have sferics popping up south coast and inland SE with intensifying cells leading edge of the wet mess on the radar. Fingers crossed

    I’m very concerned now. Complete wet mess in the channel. Surely nothing can just fire up from that?? I know midnight onwards is supposed to be the initiation time but that will not clear in time

    lightning activity is waning now across most of London, going strong north of London and in East Anglia though

    About half an hour ago I was heading north back towards south London straight for the more easterly cell and got a huge CG dead ahead with crackling thunder to follow. Epic!
