    They’re all happy in the MAD thread again, easterlies, cold, SSW “booms” and all. I truly hope we do get some proper snow this winter, that lasts more than a day. Otherwise I’ll cry. And nobody wants that, right?

    frosty ground It can only be a good thing, some of the childish knee jerk reactors will cry into their cereal for a few mornings, and the more knowledgeable can talk about what’s actually going on with the weather!

    Taylorthesnowman I won’t name names, but there's a couple of certain admins who have had it out for me from day one in that thread. It’s a bit sad really. Just because they are from the south.

    frosty ground So much southern bias in that thread it’s like if you don’t live in Cornwall or Surrey it doesn’t matter! They always only want easterlies but this was only looking like a 24 hour easterly at best anyway for them.

    GFS still over blowing up the LP in my opinion, it’s only just come back to ECMS opinion regarding Thursday. Give it a couple days to change I say.

    andy989 wouldn’t be surprised for it to shift another 150/200 miles south and for us to still be in the sweet spot mate from an in our back yard perspective I’m not too far north of you. GFS correcting the snow line towards ECM now. I think ECM has it pretty much nailed, and wouldn’t expect it to sink too far south initially for us to miss out. Only 3 days away now.

    andy989 From your perspective northwards, 100 miles south would be just fine indeed just so we can guarantee it’s all snow

    Don’t be surprised for the LP and cold to be significantly further south than it’s showing now. So many times the past few winters these have trended south.
