  1. My little back garden with the snow...if nothing else happens the rest of the year I've got this captured
  2. Snowing quite heavily here in Sittingbourne, Kent. It's laying too on wet ground from earlier, got slight accumulation in my back garden. -1 here too x
  3. I'm wondering if this is it now for N.Kent. It's gone very quiet here and the sun is finally poking out.
  4. Just measured the snow.. I would say this was the final reading but it looks like we are in for some more by the radar.
  5. Its just started snowing again here in Sittingbourne. Wasn't expecting this again. Its covering up what had melted from earlier.
  6. Absolutely chucking it down here in Sittingbourne. Starting to cover existing snow now. Can't believe I had the window open airing the house half an hour ago as there was a blue sky.. now it's a grey snowy sky.
  7. Do you think we'll get an accumulation in Sittingbourne, well Milton Regis, today? I keep seeing blue skies outside... It would be nice if there was some sort of accumulation even if it just covered up all the squashed stuff.
  8. Sun shining here and snow falling in chunks off the roof. Although its still sheet ice outside in the road in the close.
  9. Sun now shining here in Sittingbourne and some snow thawing, yet temperature is still only 0 deg with a dew point of -6. Hearing the odd drip drip outside the window and I think an icicle just fell off Not sure if we'll see much more snow today or whether this will have all gone by the morning Mustn't complain though as its been a brilliant depth for the past couple of days..up to 6.2 inches.
  10. I've been browsing the radar, met office and looking outside every 5 minutes..lol I even contemplated going out behind the dog, in the garden, with a broom too smooth over his footprints so it looks all smooth and lovely again..lol
  11. Just popped outside before bed and took the final depth reading..was pleasantly surprised. Can't remember when it was that deep, probably about 3 or 4 years ago. Hope those that are expecting the snow tonight get more than dustings
  12. Weird, the dog came in almost white just now and he's got a black back.. Its odd how it differs everywhere and you aren't that far away either...
  13. Just looked out and the dog prints from an hour earlier have all been filled and covered up, as have the car tracks out the front now. Even the footprints from the Amazon man half an hour ago have all disappeared in white snow.. Coming down quite hard too..
  14. Me too, it'll be like a winter wonderland if it does come to fruition
  15. Yet in Swale, which is normally forgotten, we are swamped with the stuff
  16. Took this photo this morning after waking up to yet more snow.. I'm still amazed at how much of a difference of snow between the areas in one county. Hope everyone, that wants it gets a decent amount of snow out there.
  17. Took these pictures just now, mainly for proof to myself that it had snowed if it has all disappeared tomorrow morning..lol
  18. All I'll say to that is...gulp!! That orange streak is right over me.
  19. Bit worried about the snow east of me on the map, it looks like it could be pretty deep. If it snows all night I dread to think how deep it'll be in the morning. Pretty but deep.
  20. I'm just happy that it's snowed at all, not bothered about how deep it is etc the fact it snowed is enough for me
  21. I don't actually think it's stopped snowing since 7.30am here, either small sparse flakes or persistent blizzards heavy snow.
  22. Been snowing since 7.30 this morning here in N.Kent and the temperature dropped from a balmy 2 deg to 0 deg with a real feel if -12 It's also settling too, ontop of the wet ground from the rain earlier. Can hear the kids over the park so it must have settled enough to sledge in...
