afternoon lads and lassies ,I am a lurker but fascinated by the comments ,although I don't understand much of what is said I am in the learning process.
can I ask when is the next big run of models that will nail down the anticipated scenario ?
Home weather station showing -1.6 with wind chill -3.7 gusts to 12mph just had very light shower more granular than snaw, the current mrs Morrison has instructed me to go and chop logs for the fire so I better wrap up and do as I’m told

As a newbie. Sitting in Midlothian with leaden skies. And drizzle with odd flake of snow can I surmise the main event will be Saturday,Sunday and Monday ? I don’t see anything coming of this today in my neck of the woods
So as a newbie, can I ask is it time to start greasing the runners on the sledge or not? There seems much rollercoaster stuff going on in the models forum however my go to is here where it’s local
love reading all the threads
cheers
I'm very new to this, but am I missing something? Net weather forecast for my area Midlothian on 9/2/20 is -6 80% chance snow 35mm,none of the expert members over at model output seem to be mentioning this is that a south of the border thing? Tia
I loved the "hunt for cold thread" as a newbie it was informative albeit a gigantic rollercoaster at times,I learned a lot last year from some very informed posters, who when messaged were more than happy to help a newbie.
Hello guys as a complete newbie and worse than a novice here Even I see the correlation in this scenario, however can I ask how the met office don't upgrade to this event that is on its way? They must be seeing what you guys are seeing? Is it not to cause panic or something else ?
Have been following model thread for sometime and the guys over there seem to be getting mightily excited with from what I can understand as a return of easterly winds and plenty snow not to mention severe cold ,and a few saying an exceptional event may be occurring
