  1. Day 1 Convective Outlook VALID 06:00 UTC Wed 03 Mar 2021 - 05:59 UTC Thu 04 Mar 2021 ISSUED 07:26 UTC Wed 03 Mar 2021 ISSUED BY: Dan An upper low, initially over the western English Channel on Wednesday morning, will drift slowly northeastwards then east-northeastwards to become centred near west London by midnight Wednesday night, then east-southeastwards over the Strait of Dover by 06z Thursday. The associated cold pool will aid in some steepening of the mid-level lapse rates, yielding some weak elevated CAPE - but increasing to a few hundred J/kg CAPE in response to SSTs
  2. 6.7c under the lurking cloud, whilst 12c at Langdon Bay. Cloud/mist has truly taken the mick here. Building off the sea in the latest frames.
  3. 16.7°C A degree lower than what was met in February 2019. I want more of this!
  4. Sahara dust muting the colours this morning. Sundog to the left hand side now looking rather void of any rainbow! 11.1c 7.2c dp
  5. 12:00 obs 14.1°C 6.9°C dp Sun well and truly out and white cloud being replaced by haze

A real beauty of a storm, gust front accompanying it as it went right overhead. I do wish for another storm like it photographically with the sunset illuminating it. I'm sure French imports have had similar features over the years but shrouded in the d
  7. It does give me quite the giggle when you venture into MOD and see people wetting themselves at a snowy easterly at 384h. All for 20c and sun now!
  8. Shouldn't be too far along from you. Cloud has just disappeared from here.
  9. Can see how the milder air has truly moved in on the Herstmonceux soundings. -12.3°C at 850 hPa on the 10th at 0z, compared to 0.6°C at 850 hPa today at 0z.
