  1. I actually didn't mind it at first due to the relatively low humidity, but after a while it just got too unbearable.
  2. Fingers crossed Btw here was a picture taken on the 3rd of March, not bad eh?
  3. Indeed karlos here in Wales Tredegar recorded the coldest march day on record -4.7C
  4. Nah followed by one of the coolest and wettest summers on record
  5. I hope to God this big freeze starts at the end of January and doesn't let up until at least early May!
  6. If the low slides it'll be snow for the majority of Wales and the valleys, rain for porthcawl
  7. If this upcoming "cold spell" fails to deliver then I think it's fair to say that this winter will go down as the winter that promised so much but delivered so little.
  8. You wanna be careful, if one of them sees your post they might get offended and report you It's all rather silly if you ask me, It's the same for Northern Ireland and Scotland as well they rarely get mentioned either!
  9. I'm not sure why this post got removed from the mod thread, I bet if it was showing for somewhere in England it would still be there. Anyway looking good indeed we also have andymusic back posting again so you know something's brewing!
  10. Sadly Wales hardly ever gets a mention in the mod thread, but I agree we always do well from a north westerly they normally always deliver the goods.
  11. That was a really good snow event, we had a red warning for it down here in the valleys
  12. The met office 10 day trend looks interesting
  13. It just goes to show that being south of the M4 doesn't always matter as long as the conditions are right, the only times when it does is when we get a slider or battleground event. @Don Did you get much snow last March?
  14. March delivered for me twice so I can't complain.
  15. You'll be fine... if you live north of the M4
  16. Working fine on here https://www.netweather.tv/charts-and-data/gfs
  17. 8 foot drifts here in the south Wales valleys, though I was smack bang in the middle of the red warning! Btw I've had 2 red warnings for snow in the last 5 years and guess what? They both happened not long after a SSW! January 2013 and march this year.
  18. I bet you thought the same in February before we had the beast from the east and the mini beast.
  19. Hopefully it stays cold up until may.
  20. Winter 1984-85 was cold, winter 1985-86 was also a decent winter. February 1986 had a CET of -1.1c
  21. You know what it's like here though, it only takes a couple of snowflakes to fall and everything grinds to a halt
  22. Seems strange that they're only now naming it, has it deepened more than expected in the past few hours?
