Looks like it'll be mainly dry with just the odd light shower to me, and speaking from a selfish perspective after a 2 hour journey home on roads like glass the sooner it stops and warms up the better. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/em/lincoln_forecast_weather.html
The Met Office don't seem to agree, i had to laugh when i saw the latest update this morning http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/uk_forecast_warnings.html?day=1
I have to say i'm not at all sold on that theory, from the last 4 easterlys i can remember Lincoln has only had notable snowfall once, the last easterly cold spell delivered less than an inch, the one before that brought sleet.
Yet another snow event turns out to be a no event and passes us by in Lincoln, cold-ish not what you could call cold (1c) on the way to work, dry, not a snow flake to be seen, beast from the east?
Well, in Lincoln this supposed snow event has turned out to be a resounding no event, as i look out the window i see heavy no, and no drifts, beast from the east my bottom
3c, 4c forcast in Lincoln tomorrow, and Snow? I don't think so, rain rain rain for my area I suspect, which to be honest suits me, I have 20+ miles to drive tomorrow evening on mostly B roads so rain rather than snow suits me just fine.
