Nice to see Frog in such a natural pose...
  3. How much longer do we have to wait for a picture of uranus? (Oh come on, somebody had to do it eventually)
  4. Oh dear lord, have you not worn out this drum yet...................or been sectioned?
  5. Looks like it'll be mainly dry with just the odd light shower to me, and speaking from a selfish perspective after a 2 hour journey home on roads like glass the sooner it stops and warms up the better. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/em/lincoln_forecast_weather.html
  6. The Met Office don't seem to agree, i had to laugh when i saw the latest update this morning http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/uk_forecast_warnings.html?day=1
  7. 0.4cm and melting, and from a totally selfish perspective long may it stay like that, i don't fancy the drive (crawl) home if we got more.
  8. I have to say i'm not at all sold on that theory, from the last 4 easterlys i can remember Lincoln has only had notable snowfall once, the last easterly cold spell delivered less than an inch, the one before that brought sleet.
  9. Greetings from a sunny and totally snowless Lincoln.
  10. Not a flake in Lincoln, bright sunshine, can't see anything happening now either.
  11. Yet another snow event turns out to be a no event and passes us by in Lincoln, cold-ish not what you could call cold (1c) on the way to work, dry, not a snow flake to be seen, beast from the east?
  12. Well, in Lincoln this supposed snow event has turned out to be a resounding no event, as i look out the window i see heavy no, and no drifts, beast from the east my bottom
  13. A fleeting glimpse of something that looked like snow, now raining in Lincoln, no, make that hail.
  14. 3c, 4c forcast in Lincoln tomorrow, and Snow? I don't think so, rain rain rain for my area I suspect, which to be honest suits me, I have 20+ miles to drive tomorrow evening on mostly B roads so rain rather than snow suits me just fine.
  15. Why is it that the model that shows snow is the right one and the ones that don't are wrong?
  16. Ooooooo yes, and Father Christmas, Jack frost oooooo and I Looooooooooooooove the Easter Bunny.
  17. Discovery +1, 8pm for the non believers, and afterwards to save face you could always claim to be on a wind up, i'm sure everybody will believe it.
  18. You'd want to base a mission costing billions of dollars on data gathered over 40 years ago? A career at NASA awaits you!
  19. To ensure you have accurate data measured with state of the art instruments in preperation for going BACK to the moon in 2020 perhaps?
  20. Well the extreme cost involved, the voting publics desire to see taxes spent on more worthwhile eartly problems , not to mention that only 1 country in the world had the rescources and techical capability to do it might have something to do with it. Oh, and we are going back.
  21. Ah yes, that old load of rubbish, good to see it wheeled out in desperation again. IF Nasa didn't go to the moon, and bearing in mind the Apollo craft were independently tracked by other countries including their then arch enemy the USSR do you not think those countries would have provided solid proof that it was a hoax? And looking at it from Nasa's point of view, which of the following do you think would be easier? Spend $25 billion, employ 100's of thousands of people, create new technology, the most complicated machine ever created, and then create an elaborate hoax and keep lying about it for 40 years? Or Build a space craft and go to the moon?
  22. That's gonna be one short year, I might not bother having a holiday that year.
