  1. Paul White. there's since most of the country hasn't seen a single snowflake.
  2. Don't be ridiculous. Global warming is a fact. There are no "opinions" here
  3. Rubbing salt... Hopefully when I retire I'll have enough to have options and really think hard where I want to spend the last stretch of my life . This country is becoming increasingly frustrating. And the weather is just a small part of the picture of course.
  4. And basically in the rest of England. This is probably the only country in the world where we don't have a proper summer, but we don't have a proper winter either. Sick and tired of it honestly.
  5. Wow!!! This wasn't expected! Darlo looks like a winter wonderland today. I woke up at around 4:30, I opened the window to one of the most beautiful snowfall I have seen... Bug fluffy snowflakes and no wind ... It definitely added a few more centimeters of snow overnight . enjoy everyone
  6. Woke up to another good dusting in Darlington! Can't really complain, this is already more snow than the whole of last year this cold spell delivered in the north east
  7. I take back what I said last night. Must've snowed during the night. I woke up to a nice dusting of snow in darlo. A good start to the season
  8. I'm by no means an expert. But IF something happens and it's a big if, we won't see anything at least until around midnight , in my opinion
  9. A thing that always amuses me is the amount of people who say "let's get the cold in first, once it's here it's very hard to displace it " Like we lived in Canada... It literally takes ONE DAY for the uk to go from, say -2, to 12!!! It's hilarious
  10. Every year it's the same. It's quite funny isn't it?!? Actually I think your location may do better than the rest of the North East this time, but only time will tell
  11. I don't understand, honestly, why people on this forum still follow GFS when has been proven, time and over again, that for our NECK OF THE WOODS, is always way off the mark. Really, why?
  12. Spot on. It's going to be colder and a tad under the average in terms of temperatures. But it's not Narnia what's being forecasted at the moment unfortunately
  13. As usual . I don't even know why people still consider GFS a reliable model when it's not anymore
